DC Brown to Cape Cod League after BDC Data Day

DC Brown headed to a BDC Data Day on Wednesday, July 9th only aware of hitting 90mph on the radar gun a few times previously... On July 9th Brown sat 88-90mph consistently hitting 90mph for strikes. He complimented his FB with a SL and CH in the low 8s. Shortly after attending the event Brown was recommended for the most prestigious collegiate baseball league in the country, the Cape Cod Baseball League by San Diego Padres Associate Scout, Rob Nadel. Nadel was confident Brown was ready for the Cape regardless of Brown being a 19 year old college freshman at a Division 3 Northeast School (WPI-Worcester Poly Tech)... Brown has proved Nadel correct by appearing in six games as of today with the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League not allowing a single run along with 9k over 5ip...

What Nadel had to say about Brown: "DC has outstanding character and is willing to listen and learn. That is the difference between a player that can overcome injury, obstacles and improve which are all usually part of a professional baseball journey in some form. Brown has the stuff and build to really be something special."

Brown was up to 89mph when Nadel had first seen him pitching VS MIT in Spring 2025 whereas now Brown has already been touching 94mph...
