UConn's David Smith leaves no stone unturned
Uconn Redshirt Junior MIF David Smith makes the most of every opportunity and is not afraid to work hard. His patience in general has clearly helped him at the plate... having to sit out in 21' due to transfer regulations David Smith was not fazed and got right to work. Smith a tremendous athlete has made it clear his LHH bat can not be overlooked... helping lead Uconn to a Regional this past season he showed the ability to go deep (9HR) but is also a major threat in terms of raw speed... collecting five triples and 23 SB. Smith ended the 2022 Division 1 season with a slash line of .307/.405/.496 in 258 at bats. Smith has now earned the title of "Captain" for the University of Connecticut Baseball team.
