Pro Ball is for Keane (Northeastern University)
Northeastern University baseball is a staple as far as college baseball goes in New England and the rest of the Northeast for that matter. It is no surprise that former Massachusetts Gatorade Player of the Year and Boston Red Sox draft pick, Sebastian Keane chose to hone his craft further at Northeastern University enabling himself to get drafted yet again by another powerhouse organization, the New York Yankees... Keane was part of a Northeastern squad that made a regional run. It is no surprise that he was selected yet again in the MLB draft bringing his fastball that can get up to the upper 90s with a serious slider... The Massachusetts native has electric stuff and fared extremely well for the Chatham Anglers of the Cape Cod Baseball League posting a 3.86 ERA with 21ip 7bb 25ks... Keane has trained at the original Baseball Data Combine facility in Everett, Massachusetts as he prepares to head down to Tampa for spring training at the end of the month.
